Cooler Master has added yet another variety to their MasterCase portfolio, and this time it’s the MasterCase Maker 5t (MCZ-C5M2T-RW5N). This particular mid-tower version is supposedly inspired by sports cars (or so they claim), so the “t” probably alludes to something about ‘turbo’. Besides some new accessories, it combines black and a glossy red color, and has tempered glass side panels. The panels also have metal keylocks. The Maker 5t case supports Mini-ITX to Full-ATX motherboards and up to 296mm long graphics cards (with HDD cage, or 412 mm without the cage) as well as the other variants.
The Maker 5t is quite heavy (13.5 kg) for the size (544 × 242 × 574 mm), though I think that a significant part of that weight is the glass windows. Just like the other models, it’s also modular, but as this is the most well-equipped version thus far, there aren’t really that many more accessories that you’d need to add to it. Besides the windows you get a graphics cards support stand, a front door panel, an LED strip and LED controller, a fan controller as well as a liquid cooling bracket. But it is also the most expensive version so far with an MSRP of 6700 CZK or 249 Euros incl. VAT.
As for cooling positions, the MasterCase Maker 5t does not differ from the others. It has three front 140mm positions, as well as one rear mount and two top ones. The two front as well as the one rear positions come with pre-installed fans. There are bays for two drives of each size: 5.25″, 3.5″ and 2.5″. The front panel carries four USB 3.0 ports, HD audio jacks and also fan speed/LED backlight control buttons.
