First Look
Today’s product for review comes from Bliss, a small company which doesn’t appear to have a website. Most of the products from this brand I have run into have been very low end products, which would probably be worthy of the fail award. The A-600 we have here, however, is one of their more expensive products, selling for around $70AUD. Let’s see how it compares with other similarly priced power supplies.
According the label, there are two 12V rails, capable of 43A combined. A quick peak inside suggests that there are multiple rails as there are four Over Current Protection shunts visible (two for each rail). The power supply itself is dark brown in colour with a gloss finish. While gloss does look good on display, fingerprints show up very easily.
The cable configuration consists of a 20+4 pin main power connector, an 8 pin EPS12V CPU connector, a 4 pin ATX12V CPU connector, two PCI-Express power connectors (one 6 pin and one 6+2 pin), four SATA power connectors, four Molex/peripheral power connectors, and two FDD power connectors. While this is probably enough connectors for many users, there are other 600W products with more SATA and Molex connectors.
For ventilation, the usual wire top grille and honeycomb rear grille are used. They are very open and allow for plenty of airflow.
