After releasing the new Revolution Duo Power Supplies a week ago, Enermax also launched two new Ostrog Lite mid-tower cases. The two variants are the black (ECB3080BB-01) and the dark grey (ECB3080BI-02) versions. Both are sized at 440 × 194 × 460 mm with a total weight of 4.65 kg. That doesn’t seem like a whole lot, and while Enermax doesn’t specifically state the type of materials used, I would guess the case is made from rather thin (0.6-0.7 mm) SECC. Both are equipped with a dark-tinted side panel window, and there’s no window-less version.
The Ostrog Lite cases support motherboard sizes ranging from Mini-ITX to Full-ATX and graphics cards up to 39 cm long. And that’s thanks to their adoption of the currently modern layout that places the power supply as well as the hard drives at the bottom of the case in a sepparate chamber. This allows the front part of the case to remain open, though Enermax did keep two 5.25″ positions on the top. The bottom drive positions include two 3.5″ internal bays (which of course can be converted to use 2.5″ drives). There are also two separate 2.5″ positons under the motherboard plate. All of these can be installed without the use of tools.
The Ostrog Lite comes with two 120mm front fan positions with two more positions at the top and one at the rear. Plus, there’s also a 92mm position at the bottom. Two ‘Enerflo’ fans come pre-installed, one at the front and one at the rear. Enermax also includes fan filters for the bottom and top positions which are supposedly easy to remove and clean. The front I/O panel is equipped with a single USB 3.0 port, as well as two USB 2.0 ports and audio jacks. Enermax is asking 45.9 euro for the grey variant and 51.9 for the black one.
