Corsair issues recall for 120GB Force Series 3 solid state drive
Not so good news for people who purchased Corsair's recently-released 120GB Force Series 3 solid state drive - you need to give it back so as to get a replacement unit. According to Corsair, this recall is due to the lower-than-advertised performance observed with shipping drives.
Anyone owing a 120GB F3 SSD (codename CSSD-F120GBG3-BK) is asked to return the drive to Corsair (all shipment costs are handled by the company) who'll replace it with a new drive boasting an updated firmware and components.
To have your F3 drive swapped for a 'fixed' model contact Corsair .
