 Look at the tiny primary capacitor of the FSP AX-360HHN 300W power supply.

Please refrain from scorning at that 120uf OST because you are not always lucky enough to get a 120uf main cap. Sometimes it turns out to be a Capxon 100uf cap. :lol2: FSP is a big PSU manufacturer which just doesn't behave the way it should behave.

@Duckula, If I can't scorn at the PFC capacitor, can I scorn at the tiny heat sinks?

btw, I think shovenose meant that the capacitor itself was a joke. He wasn't bashing your joke.
No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the coils backwards! :D

:pizza: OK. Sorry, I took it wrong. I thought I made some terrible mistakes (like poor sentence structure, improper phrase, etc. "Turn out to be..." is the 1st suspect. I think I used it wrong. ) again. :D. Well, no insulting was taken though.
:boxing: FSP. :rapidfire: OST, :rapidfire: Capxon.[hr]

Internal shot of the Thermaltake ToughPower XT 575W 80plus bronze compliant PSU. I think its real manufacturer is CWT. I'm not sure which exact platform it is based on though.

BTW, how come the +12V output capacity of this PSU is slightly higher than its total power?

lol at the label. I really do with that thermaltake would use japanese caps in their higher end PSUs. I've never seen a thermaltake with anything better than teapo. At least they don't use fuhjyyu.
