Low-capacitance polys on +5VSB

Has anyone tried replacing the output capacitors on the standby supply not with polys of the same capacitance, but with much smaller polys???
e.g. Chemi-con PSA 220µF 6.3V 6.3mm (20mΩ ESR)
I'd be interested to see a test showing whether it works or not - preferably a few different tests with different designs. I have calculated the reactance as 12mΩ at 60kHz (as used by VIPer22A) - add that to the ESR to determine what electrolytic you can replace.
