How much output capacitance is enough???

Given suitable ESR and ripple ratings, how many microfarads do you think would be necessary for adequate transient load response???

(Late edit: Swapped the term "impedance" for "ESR" as the two are indeed about equal for electrolytics at the frequencies of interest. Honestly, way too much trust is put in the information on Badcaps.net. The thing is, now I've taken the time to read the engineering documents.)

Depends on the current draw, doesn't it? I think one 2200uF capacitor of adequate grade before and after the ferrite coil would be good assuming the current draw is going to be high. It wouldn't hurt to go higher, though.
