keys on the keyboard that have never been used

Postby duckula » March 18th, 2011, 7:25 am

Are there any keys on keyboards that you have never used? As for me, there are two. They are "scroll lock key" and "pause/break key". And I don't even know what the "scroll lock key" is for.

Neither do I. For me, I never use "`", "scroll lock", "pause break", and those additional keys that are added at the top of the keyboard.

Just Scroll lock for me. I do use the Pause/Break key in flight sim X (that's how you pause the game).
No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the coils backwards! :D

P or pause/break. both do the same thing.

Then we have come into a common sense that "scroll lock" is the most useless key on the keyboard.

Don't forget those useless additional keys located, usually, at the top of the keyboard. ;)

If I press one of them, I get the "Page Cannot Be Found" error. :lol2:

:blush:Yeah, most of those additional keys are useless, except the volume up/down key or knob. My old keyboard has a volume knob on it and I found it pretty convenient.

Too pity that after I had sprayed water on my old keyboard for several times, it got so annoyed and decided to leave me.:s

And the current one is a cheapo HP keyboard, it doesn't have any additional keys on it.

My laptop has a scroll lock key that turns the numpad on or off. My numpad is on the right hand side of the keyboard with 1-9 being jkluio789 on the keyboard. Normally you would have to press FN and the appropriate key, but with the scroll lock on you can type away.
