All the users that have random names with years at the end and one link in their sig but haven't posted are spammers...
I'm going to implement some new features to block the spam...
Meanwhile, just make sure they get banned if they post any links or anything.

Hey Shovenose, if you let me, I'll make a suggestion. I've seen many forums that have the "Admin/Moderator message" panel where you can comment on posts that either insult, flame, spam... Well, basically anything! It's really good, and see if WordPress does this feature.

wait what? are you talking about the main site (using WordPress) or the forum (using MyBB)???

Do you think it would be an idea to remove the links in their signatures?

permanent bans would be better

c_hegge and i banned all the spammers. since the implementation of the new reCAPTCHA (in addition to the old one), we have no more automated spammers. However, we still had one spammer who obviously filled out all the forms properly, etc. These manual spammers are hard to block.

To block these, we would use the preinstalled Akismet plug-in...However, it needs a product key, and I am not eligible for the free key since I plan to put ads on this site evetually, so until further notice just deal with any spammers that come through just like any other spammers; Ban them PERMANENTLY!!!

I meant on MyBB. Basically whatever forum host you use.
