Hi there, one of my friends asked me what the sentence in bold means yesterday. And I can't make out of it either. Does the sentence make sense to you? :help:

can you give me a quote on transformer CIF Lusaka , Zambia in the next 10 min busy with a bid.

Doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to me either...

"can you give me a quote on" = how much will it cost me
"Luzaka, Zambie" = a place
"in the next 10 min" = must be an impatient person to want it within 10 minutes
"busy with a bid" = maybe they're buying something on eBay? LOL

They're doing international business I think. My friend works for a international logestics company. I think the author of that sentence is one of her potential customs.

It's interesting that they can do business when they can't understand each other well. :lol:

P.S. CIF stands for Cost Insurance and Freight.
