I came here because something bad happened on Badcaps.net. I'll leave c_hegge to fill in the details, but in short, it involved a personal attack towards me from someone with authority...for failing to use the search engine correctly.

It doesn't matter what authority you have, it doesn't make personal attacks okay. Nothing does. Considering that the job of moderators is to remove offensive content, posting it is pretty hypocritical to say the least (besides being against the rules)...

PS. How do you post a poll here? I can't find any way to do so.

You can't edit one into an existing thread, but there is a Poll creation tab just below the Save draft, Preview and Submit buttons when you create a new thread (see attachment).

I can't find the tab indicated in that screenshot.

EDIT: In case you're wondering, the poll I'm creating is about HDD innovations.
