You said that the AC switch in this unit is single-pole. But at least from the top-down view of the interior, it looks like one of the common small DPST switches.
Have they used only one pole of a DP switch, or wired the two switch poles in parallel, or done something similar?
And I still don't see the part number for the primary rectifier bridge…
Information is far more fragile than the HDDs it's stored on. Being an afterthought is no excuse for a bad product.
