I like FSP, but it really annoys me when even in their higher end units they seem to skimp out on MOV's. I mean come on! I see MOV's in even low end chinese junk

^ I had a Huntkey 250W ("Dynex branded 350W") that was of their low end series and it too did not have MOVs. FSP aren't the only one. It is almost exactly the same as the PSU is in this thread, on Badcaps:

Notice how it doesn't have any MOVs. Fortunately, the Huntkey I had was connected to a power bar that did have MOVs so all was well. I don't think the absence of MOVs is a big deal unless you have nasty power spikes and surges in your area, which can be a problem, especially on a 230V line voltage.

^ Yeah I understand it's not the end of the world because you can have it on a surge protector but it's the principal of it too, if you're buying a nice 600W PSU, it should have those cheap MOV's in there. I know a lot of people who don't use surge protectors and have their Computer and Monitor plugged straight into the wall
