It's a bit of an improvement over the previous one which is rare. Usually newer versions of stuff get worse not better.

I'm going to re-test it later after a few refinements to my teating gear. I did find those efficiency numbers a bit high, even for 230V.

Nah, just this one. Sometimes, PSUs are just good at fooling all but the best meters, and I suspect that's what happened here. My Watts Clever meter is fine and usually quite accurate for most PSUs, but you just get the odd one like this that could fool it.

The cheapest I can find these in Australia is $53 - $58 from online retailers. I assume they are still good value at these prices, do you agree c_hegge?

Yes, I do. They've gone up since I wrote the review, but they are still a good option.

You can't ask for more from a $50 PSU though I thought the Adda fans were good quality.

Their Ball Bearing fans aren't too bad, but I've seen several ADDA sleeve bearing fans lock up and the PSU cooks itself. Many other users have reported this issue with Seventeam built CoolerMaster PSUs, which used ADDA fans. They don't have to use SanAce on a $50 PSU, but even Globe Fan or Yate Loon sleeve bearing fans usually hold up better than ADDA.

Adda fans run well but I've seen them seize up a lot too.
