Posted: October 11th, 2013, 12:05 amI don't know for sure, as I never bothered de-soldering or testing the parts (it went straight to the metal recycler after the testing), but it was probably the 12V rectifier. I was pulling close to 20A from it, which is double its rating. With those tiny heat sinks, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it couldn't handle that.
