The amount of ripple on the -12V rail is disappointing, but it is only that bad at large loads and is still very good at low loads.

I wouldn't put trust in Korean or Chinese polymers, or even Taiwanese. I believe you said on Badcaps that most polymers aren't true solid polymers but either functional (a hybrid) or organic (conductive and things that are like that, meaning it still contains solvent and can fail the same way electrolytics do). That being said, only time will tell how these do, especially since even conductive polymers are a bit tougher than electrolytics (especially aqueous ones). Those heatsinks aren't finless at least, like I've seen in some "other" 80+ units.... so I'd say they're decent. The dual ball bearing ADDA is a nice switch from sleeve bearing, thankfully it isn't one ball and one sleeve (which is even worse as they are about impossible to even preemptively lube...). I see synchronous rectification allows for good voltage regulation and low ripple/noise. Also, it does look to me like the top honey comb grille is more limiting than the wire grille.

It only goes out of spec with the PSU overloaded to 430W - something the manufacturer never claimed it could do. I only ever knock points off for the overload test if it blows up when the manufacturer claims it to have OPP.

I don't have the same confidence in them as I have in Japanese polymers either, but Seasonic use Enesol polies a lot in their PSUs, and I haven't heard of any failures of them yet, and don't want to score against it for something that may very well never be a problem. I do agree, as I have said on Badcaps, that polies can be done wrong, like electrolytics. When it comes down to review scoring, I only score against polies if I have known there to be failures of the brand used (which, thus far, is only Apaq and Lelon). Fuhjyyu will probably not get the benefit of the doubt either if they come out with poiles :D

It's better than the grille on the VS450

Great review! That's a nice power supply. Look at the minor rail ripple suppression!!! Not much to complain about on it, except long leads do bug me as well, and not that big of a deal being single rail but I would expect Seasonic to not label it as a dual rail unit...

I hate being "that guy" but at the bottom of the 2nd page when talking about the ripple you said 12V instead of -12V, and on the 3rd page, first paragraph there's a typo on "Resonant"

Fixed. Don't ask me how that one slipped past both me and shovenose. Always feel free to point out typos if you see them.

I was in bit of a rush and wasn't so thorough on proofreading... I'll do better next time so sorry about that! As c_hegge said please by all means point out typographical errors!

A bit more on-topic, but where can I purchase these?

Nowhere in the USA that I know of. I got the price from uMart in Australia (who are a fairly popular budget retailer), but I haven't seen them in the USA.

Apparently, Newegg did have them at one point, but they were only about $5 cheaper than the G-360. I would have gone with the G-360 just to get the extra connectors.
