Kambrook KFH660 and KFH600

Postby LongRunner » May 17th, 2022, 10:34 pm

Well, it barely fits this site at all (hence I'm not bothering with the HWI watermark), but here goes:

So long, Choice magazine :D If it gets enough interest, then I might make my own site down the road…

For those interested in the Tumble-proof radiators, you can sometimes find them on Gumtree or the like; here's one now:

Whether there's much life left in the radiant elements is another question, but AU$20 for such an elegant design looks like quite a deal anyhow ;)
Information is far more fragile than the HDDs it's stored on. Being an afterthought is no excuse for a bad product.

My PC: Core i3 4130 on GA‑H87M‑D3H with GT640 OC 2GiB and 2 * 8GiB Kingston HyperX 1600MHz, Kingston SA400S37120G and WD3003FZEX‑00Z4SA0, Pioneer BDR‑209DBKS and Optiarc AD‑7200S, Seasonic G‑360, Chenbro PC31031, Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.3.

I'd think some more paging would benefit that, it's looong. And than about picture sizes for thumbnails/full sizes, and centering

OK, I've broken it up into 4 pages (Introduction/Overview, Exterior, Interior and Testing/Conclusion) and adjusted the images (and tables) to be centered and fit better (also putting consecutive images into rows of thumbnails). (If it's that important to display at a consistent size, I can go back and re-edit the smaller pictures too; but in general I've scaled them to about the resolution warranted by their sharpness or otherwise.)

I've also centered short parts of the text which directly relate to the image(s) above (wouldn't feel right to me to center only the images and tables).

Although our donation $ field seems stuck on the left anyway, so leaving the whole thing on the left felt less awkward (to me) than having the $ field on the left but donate button centered. Anything you can do to fix that?

yeah I always have to edit some styles manualy with each update, but since we're stuck at quite old versions lately, I don't touch nothing any longer, I'm glad it works at all :D
