Back then, I was just happy to have an ST380011A; nowadays I'm glad I trusted my instincts in 2014 and chose the Caviar Blacks with 5‑year warranties (just as Seagate provided on all of their internal drives from July 2004, until January 2009 after they bought Maxtor and jumped the shark).
Since YouTube has lost its soul and discarded the annotations, I've recreated the recurring “SUCKS!” message myself. Although a simpler format would have worked, I made it a .ASS (as used for anime subs) – since the Maxtor logo itself is faded-in, it only seems fair to fade in the SUCKS!

Of course, I've made sure to give it frame-perfect synchronization (with a 1-second fade-in, then 2 seconds solid) for the best effect.
Unzip and enjoy

It's a crying shame Seagate went from being so honorable, to assuming Maxtor's (and before them, MiniScribe's) role as the industry's lowest bidder…
