I don't tend to use it much, since I've got AVG Anti Virus running in the background which scans websites as you visit them and scans files when you download them. That tool does provide a lot more power than AVG though, since it's many AV's combined into one. I recommend it when uploading attachments to websites, since then you can't get yelled at for posting infected files.
