And you must like this: High Quality Japanese Made Electrolytic & Solid Capacitors.

The two big capacitors in the picture are Rubycons. The bunch of polymers look like Nippon Chemi-con.
Please feel free to point out any mistakes in my messages. That will be helpful for me to make less mistakes in the future. :-)
Any help will be appreciated.:thnx:

Yeah. I noticed that.
No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the coils backwards! :D

This PSU was pulled out of a Lenovo desktop computer. OEM is Acbel. Look at the internals of the PSU...

I can't see any PI coils on the secondary, so ripple could be a problem. As for the LTEC caps, they seem to do quite well in delta units, but elewhere, they are maybe a tad better than fuhjyyu, maybe on par with capxon.

As Long as it's silent, just not dead.

PureOC has published a review for the Silent Pro Hybrid 1050W power supply.

http://www.neoseeker.com/resourcelink.html?rlid=244497

If their test results are trustable(I'm not sure about it), the ripple suppression of that unit is kind of disappoint.

(see why I'm not sure about the reliability of PureOC's review? They wrote 5.5V instead of 5V and assumed the SPH 1050W was a 1000W unit and only pulled 1000W out of it.)
