Internet Usage Caps

Postby shovenose » March 16th, 2011, 11:25 pm

Some of you had mentioned that you had limits on your internet. I was always pleased to say I don't have any limits.

On the day after my birthday, AT&T is going to give me 150GB max per month. Nice (late) birthday gift, assholes.

Please share your internet's rated down/up speeds, actual down/up speeds (http://speedtest.net/). how much you pay, and if you have limited bandwidth...

Rated: 6Mbps Down, 768Kbps Up
Real: Right now, 5.23Mbps down and 0.65Mbps up. Usually, it's about 4.8-5Mbps down and Up can be as low as 0.35Mbps sometimes.
Pay: I get a discounted price of $19.99/month, but I think the real price is about $40/month.
Limited bandwidth: Unlimited, starting at 150GB on May 2nd...

You have the fastest download and upload speed so far; you have the most strict download limit at the same time.

Then you would have to bear with the 64Kbps download speed for the rest of the month, if you were in Australia.:lol2:

TalkTalk are really cheap, and they give good deals for home phones too i.e. if you stay with them for a certain amount of time, you get free caller ID. :)
