thats a good computer you have there!
Only problem is, raidmax makes bad psus...you should get a better one; seasonic, antec, corsair, enermax, etc, all make good units.

The higher end raidmaxes are made by ATNG and are
not all that bad like their low end sun pro built units.
No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the coils backwards! :D

I got banned from Tomshardware for allegedly stealing a guy called Klincs from Hardware Secrets computer specs.

Here is my rig
I7-2600k @4.8Ghz | ASUS MAXIMUS IV EXTREME | 4x 2gb Corsair Vengeance 1867mhz CL8 10-9-24 1T 1.600V| 3x EVGA Gtx580s| OCZ Vertex 2 SF 180gb | CORSAIR AX1200

(There used to be images here, but Photofuckit removed them. :frustrated:)

My 2nd rig is still under construction where I will post the pics when I'm done coz I'm busy modding the case. I moved my 3x Zotacs 580s over to that setup.

I never quite understood why you take issue with Asus. They are my preferred motherboard manufacurer!

Because I have seen too many drop dead after a couple of years in service. No bad caps, no PSU failures, no obviouse cause, but they just die. Gigabyte, however just keep working. Plus, asus are a pain to re-cap, since you have to install the caps backwards to the usual + and - markings.

My preferred manufacturers (1 being first preferrence) are:
1. DFI Lanparty series
2. Gigabyte
3. Intel (obviously not for an AMD system)
4. MSI
5. Asus

We've been seeing a LOT of ASUS boards die much younger than that (like Skt. AM2 and 775).

btw, after the recent upgrade, my system specs now look more like this:

Core 2 E8400 3GHz overclocked to 3.6GHz, Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L Motherboard, 4GB Kingston DDR2, 320GB WD Hard disk, 1760MB nVidia GTX295, Sony DVD Bruner, In Win Power Man IP-P600CQ3-2 600W PSU, Antec Twelve Hundred Case, Hauppauge TV Tuner, Windows XP Pro
