First Look
Shortly after I published the revised review on the In Win IP-S400CQ2-0, it disappeared from the distributor’s website, and was replaced with this – the IP-S400EQ3-2. Unlike the CQ2-0, this power supply features Active PFC and is 80Plus Bronze certified.
Externally, this power supply is very similar to it’s predecessor, with the same grey colour. All of the rails have exactly the same ratings.
The cable configuration is also identical to that of the CQ2-0. For those of you that haven’t read that review, that is a 20+4 pin ATX connector, a 4+4 pin ATX/EPS12V CPU connector, one 6 pin PCI-E connector, two Molex/peripheral connectors, four SATA power connectors and one FDD connector. The ATX and CPU connector cables are fairly short, at only 30cm (1 foot) long. They are long enough for most users, but if your case uses a bottom mounted PSU, then they may not reach without extension cables.
The presence of Active PFC eliminates the need for the red voltage switch. Other than the label, this is the only exterior difference between this power supply and the CQ2-0
