Fedora 15 (64-bit)
Introduction:
I decided to do Fedora first, because Fedora First sounds good. Fedora is the Father (oh, I couldn’t resist) of derivitives such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux. You can get it here.
Review:
Fedora is refreshing. Far the best part about it is the way it handles windows and opening applications. All you have to put your mouse all the way in the top left corner of the screen and you can choose from two tabs, Windows or Applications. It’s basically the Windows Taskbar and the Windows Start Menu integrated into one well-designed system. (See the screenshots under this section).
Anyway, the few flaws that I found with Fedora:
-It reported me as having 473.1GB free disk space. I’m not sure how that’s possible on a 250GB hard drive. This is not worth dinging any points for, just a quirk.
-It doesn’t include OpenOffice or LibreOffice. I’m used to seeing this on Ubuntu, etc, so it would be nice to include it on Fedora so that people don’t have to deal with downloading and installing it themselves..

Fedora’s score:
Installation speed: 8/10
General speed: 8/10
Interface: 9/10
Useability: 9/10
Features: 9/10
Overall score: 8.6
Conclusion:
Fedora is recommended for those who want a refreshing, intuitive interface, and want the latest of features while maintaining stability.
