Reliability question: HDD vs SSD

I'm wondering which are more reliable, less likely to corrupt, etc.
I'm assuming that Solid State Drives (SSDs) are more reliable because there are no moving parts, but I'm curious to know what other people think -- should I even back up my SSD at all?

I'd say SSDs will be more reliable when new, but they do have a more limited number of read/write cycles (at least for now), so I'd rather use an old HDD than an old SSD

With the hard disk information and program support electromechanical fashion. Hard drive feature of moving parts and rotating discs. It takes up more physical space than the SSD, since there are so many moving parts, there is a greater chance of things go wrong.
