M$ designed a new logo for Windows8. What do you think of the new logo?

The new logo is ridiculous. If you have a highly recognizable logo representing your brand, don't completely change it so it's unrecognizable! I'd say the Windows 98 and Windows 7 logos are the best they've had. This new logo isn't even curvy like the old ones, plus it doesn't retain the color scheme.

Taking away the start menu with the search functionality it contains would be a huge mistake. To do pretty much anything, I just hit the windows key and then type the name of whatever I want to launch or search for.

Exactly what I was thinking. I hate that logo. It actually bears a bit of a resemblence to the original windows logo.

I'm waiting to see how many windows 8 PC's I'll be asked to upgrade to 7 or XP. I'm thinking this is going to be more of a disaster than Windows Vista!

Well, Windows Server sucks as a server, so Linux wins there, but in my experience Windows 7 runs SOOOOO much faster than Ubuntu on all computers!
