Microsoft's dumping of the classic start menu has caused inconveniences to people who are used to the menu. Nevertheless, it gives other software makers opportunities. Stardock has worked out a solution to bring the start menu back to you.

It looks very plain and boring. Even the windows XP start menu looks more appealing than that.

It's a 3rd party start menu for Windows 8. It looks a lot more plain and boring than the windows 7 start menu
