Hi there, one of my friends asked me what the sentence in bold means yesterday. And I can't make out of it either. Does the sentence make sense to you?
can you give me a quote on transformer CIF Lusaka , Zambia in the next 10 min busy with a bid.

Doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to me either...

"can you give me a quote on" = how much will it cost me
"Luzaka, Zambie" = a place
"in the next 10 min" = must be an impatient person to want it within 10 minutes
"busy with a bid" = maybe they're buying something on eBay? LOL

They're doing international business I think. My friend works for a international logestics company. I think the author of that sentence is one of her potential customs.

It's interesting that they can do business when they can't understand each other well.

P.S. CIF stands for Cost Insurance and Freight.
