I have revised it, since a lot has changed since I originally reviewed it.
I don't really like ADDA, and that was part of the reason it didn't get a better award. To be fair, though, These PSUs are very popular as budget ones around where I live, and I seldom see them with bad fans.Wester547 wrote:I thought you hated ADDA, c_hegge.
That ADDA won't last long because it's mounted horizontally and mounting sleeve bearing fans horizontally badly curtails their lifespan.
You are right. I have fixed that. I think what got me was that Diodes Inc specified the ambient temperature, which is something very few manufacturers do. The label states that the power supply has two 12V rails. As we will see later, though, this is not the case. There is really only one 12V rail.
