...if you could make them real, that is. Alternatively, how could you help out in a fictional world if you could enter it yourself???

Of course, be careful with it, because there are many bad things that could happen if you aren't.
Information is far more fragile than the HDDs it's stored on. Being an afterthought is no excuse for a bad product.

I would be less interested in fictional characters and more interested in what deceased people, who are often made reference to in history, would have to say about these "modern" times.

Okay, I've thought about that, but it's hard to come up with examples. Here's my best attempt:

Issac Newton: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Me: Not in today's "justice" system, it doesn't.
Issac Newton: :facepalm:

As for fictional, I would love to have the Power Bracelets. The character that uses them would no doubt excel at defeating anything hostile, though I'm not entirely certain that would make up for his infamous habit of smashing pottery...
