I simply have no idea how people got into the idea that "more bass = better". While it's up to you whether you like it or not, I have no doubt myself that bass boosting as it's usually used results in unrealistic and inaccurate audio. (Edited to correct for my former misjudgement. I will say now that live shows are one of the worst offenders, though.) I wish this whole fad would just die already.

Information is far more fragile than the HDDs it's stored on. Being an afterthought is no excuse for a bad product.
