A guy over at IT ocp opened his brand new Corsair CX430 V2 power supply because he thought there was something odd in his PSU. The odd thing he referred to was the thin plastic board beneath the fan, which was placed there to direct the airflow to corners. He thought the plastic board hindered the fan from cooling the PSU and he decided that this kind of stupid things shouldn't belong to his PSU. So he cracked his PSU and pulled the board out of it so as to get better cooling. His brave move only end up invaliding the warranty.
He also thought the Samxon capacitors in the unit were nothing but junk. o.O
