The el-cheapo Power Supply round up

I wonder how the Besta achieved 80% efficiency all the way up to 350W given how it's built.

A bit of a wild guess, but could it be using a higher duty cycle than some of the others???

I noticed some discoloration left of the fuse in the Huntkey, on the PCB... did that come from loading it up to 200W and if not what else could that be from?

I can't remember. I suspect it was there all along, but it's over two years ago.

I think it's possible the previous owner pushed it too hard. It only has a 10A ultrafast on the +12V rail and pretty thin heatsinks and the previous user might have thought the labeled "15A" on the +12V rail to suffice for whatever was being powered.
